I got my paperback proofs in for Ground Zero and Revelations recently, and I’ve been making my way through them looking for typos and formatting errors. And I swear, I’ve been over this book with a fine-toothed comb multiple times before formatting for paperback and ordering proofs from Amazon.
I haven’t made it a third of the way into Ground Zero and have found three typos so far. Typos that I would swearweren’t there before I submitted it for proofs.
It just goes to show that, no matter what you do as a writer, no matter how many times you comb through a manuscript, there will always be typos. So, fellow writers, try not to sweat the small stuff. Lord knows me doing so has absolutely exhausted me.
