So who’s seen the trailer for the second half of season two of The Walking Dead and who’s as excited for it as me? Seriously, there isn’t very much in the way of quality television anymore, and this is practically the only show I watch as it airs. I already liveblog the episodes on Twitter when it’s on the air, for the most part, but I think I’m going to start blogging my thoughts on them here for discussion’s sake.
In other zombie-related news, I can’t wait for this to be released. Gives me a good excuse to get off my butt, and it actually looks like it’d be a good bit of fun. Then again, anything with zombies is fun!
Speaking of zombies, the folks at the If You’re Just Joining Us podcast interviewed the esteemed book reviewer Paul Goat Allen about apocalyptic fiction yesterday. It’s a great episode, lots of fun talk about duct tape and pajama jeans and apocalyptic fiction, and as an added bonus, Allen totally name-drops me and The Becoming (and I, personally, am absolutely thrilled he pronounced my name right lol). Anyway, you can listen to the entire episode right here if you’re so inclined; I personally would highly recommend it if only because he talks about a lot of really great books.
Hopefully, I’ll have an update on The Becoming: Ground Zero soon. In the meantime, you can add it to your to-read list on Goodreads if you click right here; I’ve created the page for the upcoming book, and while there’s no cover there (yet), there’s a synopsis for those of you who’d like to know what the book is about. 🙂 And hopefully I’ll have my planned excerpts for this novel ready to go soon!
